If you've experienced a commercial business claim, please follow these steps.
Notify the police if a law may have been broken.
Notify your insurance company as soon as possible and then call the Bates Insurance Group (952-944-5044 or 800-728-8745). Include the time and place of the event, a description of the property and the names and addresses of any witnesses.
Do what is reasonable and necessary to protect covered property from further damage.
Keep a record of your expenses for consideration in your claim. If feasible, separate the damaged property from the undamaged and make an inventory of the damaged items.
Cooperate with the insurance company in the investigation and settlement of the claim. Permit them to inspect the damaged property and any records pertaining to your loss as many times as may be required.
