Bates Insurance Group is considered a full service independent insurance agency. We represent over 70 companies in all lines of products. We provide our clients with all commercial or business insurance coverages for almost any industry. We also provide group benefit products for those employers on both an employer paid and voluntary basis. Individuals may also access these same benefit lines through us and our specialized agent staffing. That includes options for Medicare supplements, long-term care insurance, and financial planning. In addition, we offer individual life insurance options for both business related needs and the individual/family. Of course we also offer personal lines insurance, which consists of home, auto, and all related coverages for those folks.
From time to time in my career, I'd speak with a client about a need they had for certain insurance and their response was, "I didn't know you guys offered that". Shame on me when that happens. It is my responsibility to educate my client base on their insurance needs, and to provide the products to cover those. When that doesn't happen, not only does the agency lose out, but so does our client. To work with several agents is not only complicated at times but oftentimes counterproductive. Not all agents operate alike. Numerous agents working with a client cannot see the whole picture, which then diminishes the best interest for the client.. Because of that, you may be missing out in achieving your insurance objectives.
